⏳ Checking Your Submission
We review all quotes manually to ensure quality. This process typically takes 1 hour.
To check if your quote has been approved, go to the App Home tab and click the 🔍 Search button, or use the command:
/quo-search "quote text"
- Found? Great! It's in the rotation.
- Not found? It is either still pending review or was denied for violating our guidelines.
🌍 Language Support
At this time, StatusQuo only supports English. Non-English quotes will be declined during moderation.
🚫 Content Guidelines (Strict)
We have a zero-tolerance policy for offensive content.
When submitting new quotes, you agree to the following rules:
- No Hate Speech: Any form or shape.
- No Foul Language: Keep quotes "Safe for Work" (PG-13).
- No PII: Do not include private names, phone numbers, or internal company secrets.
⚡ Usage Limits
- Manual Updates: 3 updates per 10 minutes.
- Pending Quotes: Maximum 3 unapproved quotes at a time.
- Daily Submissions: Maximum 10 approved quotes per day.

Bot stopped updating your status?
If you recently changed your Slack password, your access token was automatically revoked by Slack. Please reinstall the app to reconnect.

"Dispatch Failed" error?
This can happen if our server is waking up from sleep. Please try clicking the button again in a few seconds.

I can't see the "App Home" tab?
Click on "StatusQuo" in your Slack sidebar (under Apps). If you still don't see a "Home" tab at the top, ask your workspace admin to enable "App Homes" for this app.
